Fata Morgana is a city on the west coast of Tierra-Madre, also called Spirit Land. It is considered a modern multicultural metropolis, equipped with everything necessary for a utopian existence of 8 million inhabitants. At the beginning of the Metamorph.bio Cyber-Trip program, Fata Morgana was one of the favourite destinations of cybernetic travellers and was considered to be a promising and exciting place to visit. In addition to being an unbridled and very dynamic place to fulfil your most restrained desires, as well as to challenge your fears for therapeutic purposes. Everything changes in 2040 when CSO Hector Acapella introduces a new protocol that offers consumers the possibility of eternal permanence. The city was meant to become a model of digital paradise and become a true dream, a golden benchmark to inspire generations in the name of progress. However, the greed of the human race took over and calculation errors that were made through the algorithms were out of balance. It gave way to the first cybernetic rebellion that divided the community into different factions. After going through a difficult period of adjustment, the city became a slightly safer place. The city continues to be a dream for those with the right resources and becomes a living hell for the city's outcasts.
