# Utility

$GOV is the core token of the Metamorph decentralized economic system.

### Ownership of Metamorph’s Decentralized Protocol

$GOV is defined as a broad certificate of ownership for Metamorph. 

We hope to lead this coin-power-centric operation model and make it the paradigm for future WEB3.0 projects. 

With "Code is Law" realized through smart contracts, $GOV holders will truly become the owners of the Metamorph decentralized protocol and applications, essential participants in the Ecosystem (rather than just consumers or speculators), deeply involved in the development of Metamorph. 

In the future, $GOV holders will become co-decision-makers in the development of Metamorph. A series of proposal, voting and execution processes will be developed, and we hope to achieve these goals with the community. 

This process not only allows $GOV holders to gain benefits, but more importantly, participants will profoundly influence each other with Metamorph, becoming digital citizens of Fata Morgana, jointly building a thriving virtual city.

### Value Capture of Metamorph Ecosystem

$GOV holders will continuously gain benefits from the overall Metamorph ecosystem. 

All economic activities of Metamorph: the issuance and circulation of assets, or transaction fee charged from secondary market, a portion of the income will be used to repurchase and burn $GOV, achieving the most intuitive and effective value empowerment. 

At the same time, we are committed to embedding these value capture methods into smart contracts, allowing everything to be implemented in a decentralized manner. When a new NFT is issued and publicly sold, a part of the income will automatically repurchase $GOV in the market and throw it into a black hole address; in the official NFT Marketplace, as well as DEX that deployed corresponding contracts, a part of the transaction fee will also automatically execute the same operation. 

This reduces the possibility of malicious manipulation and lowers supervision and management costs. 

With the continuous expansion of Metamorph's overall scale, the increasing trading scenarios, and the diversified development based on the UGC System, $GOV will have greater value and influence.

### Pricing Token of Valuable Assets

$GOV will be used as the main pricing means for major assets within the Metamorph ecosystem. 

The value of $GOV is positively correlated with other major types of assets (such as NFT), giving them a common growth effect. 

The circulation of $GOV in the market is also crucial. Higher liquidity means more prosperous business, more wealth, and better services are being created. 

These creations not only come from the Founding Team, but in the future, they will come more from the Creators within the ecosystem. 

By realizing the circulation of $GOV, a broader value consensus will be established.
